Questions
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to give my name or contact details to see quotes?
Correct. The quote tool only asks about your gender, date of birth, general health status, tobacco use, desired coverage amount, and preferred term length. Those six data points are sufficient to generate carrier rates. Information like your name, address, and detailed health history is collected only if you decide to complete an application.
Are the monthly prices shown the price I will pay?
These are the rates offered by each carrier for the health classification you selected. The actual premium you pay is determined after the carrier completes underwriting, which may confirm, improve, or alter the health class. This site does not make offers of insurance nor guarantee any specific price.
What happens when I click Apply?
You will provide your name, and your selected quote becomes the basis for your application, which then transfers to the carriers' secure application system. You may pause and return later to resume, and you sign all documents electronically. The entire process is managed through Susman Insurance Agency, a California-licensed insurance agency under license 0B75129.
Will I need a medical exam?
It depends on the carrier you choose, the coverage amount, and your health profile. Some carriers now provide expedited approval paths without medical exams for qualified applicants. Each quote displayed here specifies whether the carrier requires an exam, may require one, or does not require one.
Is a longer term better?
Choose a term that matches when you would need the money: a mortgage term, the years until children finish their education, or a business loan maturity. Longer terms cost more each month but lock in your rate for more years. The quote tool lets you compare 10, 15, 20, 25, and 30 year terms at once.
Does this site sell my information?
No. The quote tool does not ask for contact information, we do not sell or share visitor data, and our analytics system does not use cookies. The privacy page lists everything we collect and every service that receives it.
